A Closer Look

ID-Cooling has always been a strong contender when it comes to their designs, and that certainly still holds true with the FX360 Pro, as this is a very nice looking cooler despite it being one of their more affordable models. If anything, I’d say it looks as good as many other brands premium coolers, so a big thumps up there.

The pump is nice and compact, with a rounded design, and as you can see, the top of the pump has what they call a “CD design” which is that it has circular grooves cut into it that make it look a bit nicer.

The fans look superb, with black fins, black frame, and black anti-vibration mounts on all the corners. They’re ID-Cooling’s own fans too, rather than some OEM part, and I really prefer it when you can tell a brand has had full control over the design and quality of their own cooler.

This is true of the pump too, it’s the 7th Gen ID-Cooling pump design, which uses a 2800 RPM pump, and can cool up to 350W CPUs, with support for Intel LGA1700, 1851, 1200 and 115x, as well as AMD AM4 and AM5 sockets. The contact plate is nice and large, and should provide great coverage of any of the supported CPUs.

The radiator is 360mm and uses a slim design, so it should be broadly compatible with a lot of mid-tower PC cases. There’s no weird surprises here, it’s just a clean rectangle radiator design and supports mounting of the fans on either side for push or pull configurations. However, I do love that the fans use daisy chained cables which is going to make for cleaner cable routing. Sure, more premium coolers now use magnetic daisy chain fans, but at this price, I’m not going to complain.
