ID-Cooling has all the makings of a quality AIO cooler here, with a good pump, nice fans, and a large radiator, so it’s hardly surprising to see it deliver rather competitive cooling performance, scoring around 73c at load, keeping up with the similarly equipped DeepCool LT720 WH.
With our optimised settings, the temperature reached 70c, delivering similar performance to the Kraken 240 and the GALAHAD II LCD, both of which cost more than twice as much as this cooler; albeit because they have LCD screens in their pumps.
Acoustic performance is pretty competitive too, with the fans delivering performance on par with the majority of similar 360mm AIO coolers.
And using our optimised settings, the acoustic performance was improved a fair bit too, dropping the CPU by 3c meant the fans PWM curve stayed a bit lower. However, since this CPU can run much warmer without any cause for concern, or if you’re running a lower TDP CPU, you could wind the fans back to a silent PWM curve, where they’ll be humming away at just 38 dBa at the cost of a few more degrees of warmth in the radiator.
