ID-Cooling Launches Hunter VC-Twin CPU Cooler

ID-Cooling has announced the Hunter VC-Twin CPU cooler which adopts a D-Shape dual fin-stack design and features twin thermal-grade anti-oxidation coated aluminium fin stacks. The heat is dissipated by five 8mm thick copper heatpipes which work alongside a vapor-chamber plate. This makes direct contact with the CPU and helps to reduce load temperatures.

The cooler is bundled with two fans, a 120mm intake and 140mm conveyor which sits between the fin-stacks. Both fans are capable of PWM control to alter the RPM values. The 120mm operates between 800-1800 RPM and produces 60.7 CFM with a noise output range of 16.2-29.92 dBA. Additionally, the 140mm fan spins between 800-1600 RPM and reaches a maximum airflow of 76.8 CFM. In terms of noise, the 140mm fan ranges between 16.8-32.6 dBA. On this default setup, the maximum fan noise could become quite loud but should offer an excellent level of performance. Thankfully, PWM control allows you to alter the values to your individual taste.

When it comes to dimensions, the cooler measures a total of 123 mm x 153 mm x 160 mm (LxWxH) and weighs 1418g. The product supports every modern CPU socket on the market including LGA2011v3, LGA115x, AM3+ and FM2+. From an aesthetics standpoint, the cooler’s black heatsink and red accents on the fans look absolutely stunning. When combined with a traditional black and red gaming theme, the end result is superb.

Sadly, ID-Cooling hasn’t released a retail price yet, but we will certainly keep you updated when this information arises.
