ID-Cooling Reveals SE-214C CPU Coolers

ID-Cooling has just revealed their new SE-214C range of CPU coolers, and while not the catchiest of product names, the new compact air coolers do look pretty promising. The range comes in three different colours, or should I say it comes with three different colours of 120 fans that make it easier to colour match to your current build. There’s the SE-214C-B, SE-214C-R, and SE-214C-W, which are blue, red and white respectively.

The cooling tower is a slim design, with an offset shape that will ensure support for larger RAM heatsinks, while some slimmer fins on the lower section of the cooler to make way for motherboards which have larger VRM coolers, ensuring the cooler is compatible with a wide range of motherboards and system configurations.

The cooler deploys four 6mm thick copper heat pipes, which are designed for direct contact with the CPU. The top of the cooler also features an ABS plate, which gives it a smarter and more professional look vs the usual aluminium fins and copper pipes and should also allow it to blend into your system much easier. The 120mm fan operates between 600-1600RPM, 59CFM, and 16.2 – 30.5 dBa.

Unfortunately, no prices or release date just yet, but with CES just around the corner, we shouldn’t have long to wait to find out.
