ID-Cooling SE-214L Snow Edition Air Cooler Review

A Closer Look
The cooler itself has a nice tidy presentation, but very little aesthetically (at least on the surface) except for the ‘Snow Edition’ colouring. It is a little unusual to see a cooler in white as many prefer black due to the heat dissipation bonus. In this instance though, I actually really like the colour choice. It’s something a bit different and when in operation looks fantastic.
The cooler itself is as expected with no apparent design beyond the usual. In this particular model, it has 4 pipes leading to the cooler itself. The large CPU contact plate, combined with the 8 (4 on each side) pipes does not exactly speak of innovative design, although again it is usually to see cooler pipes in white. Usually, they are either left as the exposed copper. Such a feature, while looking a attractive, may affect overall heat dissipation performance.
Fan Specification
The fan appears to be a quality design, but it is a little chunky. I do not think that you should have any issues in regards to RAM clearance, but the gap is very minimal. If you have large heat-synced RAM slots, you might need to either fit the fan on the opposite side or be prepared for some tight clearance.
