ID-Cooling SE-914-XT Basic CPU Cooler Review

Exterior Packaging
The front of the packaging provides you with a nice, large, and clear view of the cooler. In addition, the packaging as a whole carries the black and orange coloring that is becoming well distinctive of an ID-Cooling product.
Unfortunately, however, after this point the packaging is a pretty dull affair. While the rear gives you the technical specifications, the only remaining information is on the sides which briefly lists the products features and socket compatibility. Put simply, it’s an exceptionally poor utilization of the space and ID-Cooling could’ve done a lot more to give this packaging a bit more in terms of presentation.
Accessories!
With the only exception being a screwdriver, ID-Cooling provides you with everything you need out of the box to successfully install this on your system. You are given a good quality manual (more on that in the installation aspect of this review), a fairly generous portion of thermal paste, and some additional fan brackets should you, in the future, wish to install a secondary cooling fan. Albeit, we should note that this cooler is only provided with one as standard.
