Performance
As this is a, relatively speaking, inexpensive product. Massive performance figures shouldn’t be expected. Despite this, the ID-Cooling ZoomFlow 240 provided some highly impressive results in our range of testing. In terms of 240mm coolers, this is up there with the best and, at the very least, is massively the best cooler we have reviewed from this brand to date.
Stock Temperatures
Although immediately upon the stock levels, it’s clear that the ID-Cooling is way up there with the best of them. As can be seen in the charts, the ZoomFlow 240 finds itself amongst some very lofty company including Eisbaer coolers and only just falls short of the highly-popular Corsair H150i.
So far, this is already looking really promising!
Overclocked Temperatures
So, things were impressive at stock temperatures, so what about what put to the test? Well, in that regard while the ID-Cooling ZoomFlow does fall down the chart a little, it is still amongst very good company and at the very least, amongst the best 240mm coolers we have tested. It seems clear that this cooler can do the job when under standard operating speeds or when made to work that little bit harder!
Stock Acoustics
Ok, so this cooler is great in terms of temperatures, but are the noise levels a weakness in its design? In a word, no. While the ZoomFlow 240 isn’t exactly whisper quiet, in terms of noise levels at stock levels of performance it finds itself comfortably in the top third of best results.
Overclocked Acoustics
When overclocked, the ZoomFlow 240 does slip down the charts a little in terms of keeping the noise down. That being said though, the results given are still more than acceptable for a cooler of this type. It, again, represents some very good results from the 240 liquid cooling categories.
Sure, it’s not whisper quiet, but it certainly isn’t noisy either!
