Tequila Works will remove Denuvo the moment someone cracks their game
Tequila Works just released a new single-player puzzle adventure PC game called RiME. It doesn’t come as a surprise that the developer chose to include the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. After all, most modern games rely on this technology nowadays. However, Tequila Works stated they will remove Denuvo once someone cracks the game. According to Tequila Works, they implemented Denuvo to give players a better gaming experience.

Tequila Works explains their decision
Tequila Works will release a version of the game without Denuvo if someone cracks it, and will update existing platforms. Here’s their official statement on the matter:
“I have seen some conversations about our use of Denuvo anti-tamper, and I wanted to take a moment to address it. We have had discussions about Denuvo internally, and one of the key points of all of those discussions have simply been, we want to ensure the best gaming experience for RiME players. RiME is a very personal experience told through both sight and sound. When a game is cracked, it runs the risk of creating issues with both of those items, and we want to do everything we can to preserve this quality in RiME.
The game is available for purchase on Steam at the moment, and it costs 34.99 euros. It is also available for Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch consoles. Are you thinking about giving it a try?
