Cougar went all out at Computex, offering up a huge range of new and existing peripherals for us to check out. First up, we have their lovely 8-colour Vantar Scissor Switch keyboard (above), which offers up three lighting effects, anti-ghosting and a stunning slimline design that offers up a slick typing action thanks to its scissor-switch mech keys, similar to that of a high-end gaming laptop.
The new 450K Hybrid Mech, which features plunger membrane switches, giving it a similar feel to MX Brown switches, multi-colour lighting, UIX software support, anti-ghosting and more, great for those looking for a robust gaming keyboard on a tighter budget.
The new Deathfire gaming gear combo comes with a hybrid mech switch keyboard, Fn-shift shortcuts, anti-ghosting, and more, which the mouse offers up an ADNS optical sensor 3 button design and OMRON switches. Both offer multi-colour lighting and while not the most feature packed, their going to be priced very competitively for gamers on a budget.
Need an updated combo? The EX model comes with an even better keyboard design with a more dynamic lighting setup and edge lighting, as well as a better equipped gaming mouse with a four button design.
The new MINOS x3 gaming mouse, equipped with a plug-and-play design, built-in DPI adjustments, and a sleek design with built-in side panel grips for those who like to use a claw grip play style.
The X1 is a similar design, but strips down some of the features to make it more affordable.
Going back up to the high-end gaming hardware, we’ve got the aluminium construction 700M, which comes with a high-performance laser sensor, built-in memory, UIX support, full RGB lighting customisation, a weight tuning system, adjustable and interchangable palm rest and much more; not forgetting the fact it looks freaking awesome.
The 700M eSports is a little more focused, ditching the weight tuning sytem, but offering up a more unique visual appearance.
Then we have the fully mechanical RGB Attack X3, the same as last years model with the main difference being RGB lighting.
And their new high-end Ultimus, which offers up full per-key RGB lighting, mechanical switches and a stunning exposed metal frame, meaning the key caps are fully above the chassis for a unique look.
