Temperatures
Temperatures were measured using the same method of running idle and load for a good comparison. We used HWMonitor to measure the idle temperature of all 4 cores of our processor as well as the temperature of the GPU that we used. Once the system temperatures had been recorded, we continued to load the system once again by using a combination of Prime95 and Furmark.
Once the system had been running the two applications for around 15 minutes, we were able to record the temperatures once again at a load state.
The above chart shows a good set of fairly low temperatures, even when in a load state. This is all down to the various fans that are scattered around the case to supply sufficient cooling to the areas and components that need it most. Obviously with all this cooling the price to pay is in noise, but at 31 dBA at idle and 37dBA at load, we were quite happy with the figures presented to us.
