Final Thoughts
When we first received the Dragon Slayer, we were a bit dubious due to its size as it’s the first mini-tower we’ve looked at but we were quite surprised as to how roomy the case can be and would be perfect for a budding enthusiast or school kid wanting to add some style to their system.
There were a few problems as expected, but it’s not as if you’re paying the earth for this case so some corners had to be cut but In Win have focused on ventilation which in a case of this size is a key feature as the worst thing you want is having lots of components cramped into a case with no cooling properties.
A bit more thought into the functionality and quality of the features would have been greatly appreciated but the fact that this case has USB 3.0 support, cable management features and has some unique styling makes it a hit in our books.
Pros:
- Accepts long graphics cards
- Bright contrasting colour scheme
- Pre-supplied fans
- Front is complete mesh
- Cable management areas
- CPU backplate removal made easy
- USB 3.0 port
- Unique styling
Cons:
- Expansion card lock needs more support
- Smaller fans can get quite noisy
- No eSATA port
- Limited hard drive bays
Rating:
