In Win has just blown the lid off the details of their upcoming X-Frame 2.0 Open Chassis. This is not a case to be taken lightly, it’s freaking huge for starters, and with a price tag that’s going to run you 1499 EUR (inc taxes), it’s likely to have many of trying to whisper to your credit card that everything is going to be fine.
We first saw this monstrous test-bench at Computex earlier this year, and we’re very impressed with its innovative design. It features a tray platform which mounts to a tripod like swivel base. Not only can you leave it flat like a normal test bench, but if you’re feeling strong enough, you can lift the whole thing off the base and mount it vertically to show off your new hardware.
Included in the price is the equally sexy In Win 1065W SI-1065 PSU, which features fully modular cables, a triple 12V rail design, built-in lighting with a tempered glass side panel, built-in USB port, and much more.
The chassis will support ATX motherboards, with ample room for huge graphics cards, and enthusiast air coolers. There’s also a 3 x 120mm fan/radiator mount on the side. There are two 2.5″ drive mounts, as well as room for four 3.5″ drives, and even a 5.25″ drive should you need it, giving you plenty of options.
Do you think you’ll be placing a pre-order for this chassis when it hits retail stores?
