The DC Universe fighting game Injustice 2 is finally heading to the PC several months after its release on consoles. The fighting game lets players pit iconic characters from the DC universe against each other including Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. It also follows the events of the first game Injustice: Gods Among Us directly. Set in an alternate DC universe dystopia where the usual line between heroes and villains is much blurrier.
Injustice 2 includes 28 playable characters including some new characters that were not in the original. It also features 10 additional characters as DLC with some odd cameos including Sub-Zero and Raiden from Mortal Kombat. Several characters are also playable as “premiere skins” which transform existing characters into alternate DC characters. Bizarro for example is an alternate Superman skin.
NetherRealm Studios is working with QLOC for this PC port. Which is the same studio which brought Mortal Kombat XL to the PC. There is no set release date yet for the final version. However, an open beta will be available on Steam starting October 25. PC-exclusive graphical features have not been disclosed yet, nor is the official Steam page up yet at the time of writing this article.
