On the Very High preset, it’s recommended for graphics cards to have more than 4GB of video memory due to the unbelievably detailed textures. As a result, many cards fare quite badly in the minimum frame-rate department. Thankfully, the GTX 1080 doesn’t suffer from any hitching even in demanding sections and easily copes with the game’s visual fidelity.
During 1440P testing, the GPU’s minimum frame-rate stays very stable and the average shows its suitability for high-refresh 2560×1440 gaming.
Unbelievably, the graphics card is able to provide a stellar 60 frames-per-second experience and doesn’t falter too much when the action becomes intense.
