A Closer Look

Inno3D has gone wild with their shroud design, as there are angles going absolutely everywhere on this one. It actually looks a bit over-designed if I’m honest, and while it looks funky and cool, it also looks like its been stepped on or been bent out of shape. Perhaps that’s just me though, style is very subjective. One thing I do like, however, are those two large fans which feature an increased number of fins for improved airflow.

The heatsink is nice and large, and the dual fan configuration should make light work of cooling the RTX 3050 chipset.

Like many other RTX 3050 cards, there’s a full backplate with additional ventilation on the rear of the card. This means that the rear fan can blow air right through the heatsink and out the back of the card. Of course, this should significantly improve the overall cooling performance.

There’s some ventilation at the rear of the card too, where you’ll also find three DisplayPorts and a single HDMI port; that’s double the display outputs of the latest AMD cards.

Finally, you’ll find the card requires a single 8-pin PSU header, which is something just about any half-decent PSU should be able to provide.
