INNO3D RTX 4070 Super Twin X2 Graphics Card Review

These results are meant to show comparative performance between non-Founders Edition cards rather than comparison against all other graphics cards on our charts. For the full suite of RTX 4070 testing results, please refer to our launch review here. It’s more to make sure that the performance on the card being tested falls within the margins we expect from the chipset given they’re the same chipset, but feature different power delivery, cooling, and other features.

The INNO3D card is a strong performer, coming in just ever so slightly ahead of the Founders Edition and the Zotac RTX 4070 Trinity. With a 177 FPS average, it’s 20 FPS ahead of the non-Super card, and the 1% lows are now over 100 FPS, which will mean an overall smoother gaming experience.
AT 1440p, it’s pretty much the same story, with the INNO3D RTX 4070 Super Twin X2 pulling a nice little lead over the non-Super variant of the card, but largely its performance is identical to that of the Founders Edition here, but given they are priced the same, that is hardly cause for concern.
At 4K, which saw the non-Super top out at just 67 FPS, the INNO3D card pushed a more impressive 78 FPS, with slightly higher 1% lows too, and again, broadly the same as the Founders Edition, but a little faster than both Zotac and Palit’s Super cards.

At 1080p, the INNO3D is a strong contender yet again, with the card pushing 116 FPS on average and around d82 FPs on the 1% lows, which is enough to put it ahead of the RTX 3080 Ti
Moving up to 1440p, the INNO3D RTX 4070 Super Twin X2 again scores well, with a solid average FPS, and most importantly, the 1% lows are above 60 FPS, so this should make for a very smooth gaming experience. It’s also the fastest of the Super cards today, even if it’s only by 2-4 FPS in each result.
4K gaming is a big ask for this card, but if you’re ok with a cinematic 30+ FPS it’ll certainly get the job done. Of course, this is without any scaling or DLSS, which will fill in the void just fine, but in terms of rasterisation performance, it’s still quite a bit faster than the non-Super card.
