Baldur’s Gate 3
Gather your party and return to the Forgotten Realms in a tale of fellowship and betrayal, sacrifice and survival, and the lure of absolute power. Mysterious abilities are awakening inside you, drawn from a mind-flayer parasite planted in your brain. Resist, and turn darkness against itself. Or embrace corruption, and become ultimate evil. From the creators of Divinity: Original Sin 2 comes a next-generation RPG, set in the world of Dungeons & Dragons.
Moving onto Baldur’s Gate 3 we start to see things look up slightly as the Ti SUPER now comes in 4% faster than the non-SUPER which moves it up in our rankings above the 6950 XT which was 1 FPS ahead of the 4070 Ti so again, nothing that’s going to shatter records but it’s something as a point of contention.
1440p sees similar increases. A 3% increase in performance, which helps push past the 6950 XT but for beating an older generation card that also comes in cheaper, it doesn’t exactly have the wow factor.
At 4K the gap grows, likely due to the increase in VRAM from 12GB to now 16GB, which again puts it slightly ahead of the 6950 XT by a mere 2% so again, it’s enough but also feels a bit like a hollow victory.
