Intel Confirm Arc A770 Graphics Cards Are Finally Getting Prepped For Retail!

At this point, I’m almost sick of hearing about Intel’s Arc graphics cards. Remember how tiresome ‘Ryzen is coming’ got back throughout early 2017? Well, Intel Arc is like that, but on crack! – Perpetually coming, yet never seemingly arriving, the biggest problem Arc has is that by the time it does land on the market, it’s doubtful people will actually care that much about it anymore with Nvidia 40XX and Radeon 7000 coming along to steal all the thunder!
Following a Twitter post by Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger, however, we do finally have some positive news. Well, sort of. – What is it I hear you ask? Well, Arc A770 graphics cards are finally getting prepped for retail shipments!
Got a surprise delivery on a rainy Sunday evening from @RajaXG – an Intel Arc A770. We are now getting first batch of A770 cards ready for retail …excited! pic.twitter.com/r75BASxLtF

Intel Arc A770
So, better late than never (maybe) but it finally seems like Arc A770 graphics cards are getting set for retail shipment which, all going well, might mean that they’ll actually be ready and available to purchase in wide Western markets before the end of next month.
At this point though, for all the initial excitement I had for Arc (more as being the long-awaited third player than a genuine competitor) at this point I wish they’d stop talking about it and just do it! – For what feels like the thirteenth time of saying it though, not much longer to go… Arc A770 is nearly here! Let’s just hope it’ll end up being (mostly) worth the wait!
What do you think? Are you still excited about Arc graphics cards? If so, which model most has your attention? – Let us know in the comments!
