Intel has rolled out a fresh graphics driver update aimed at enhancing gaming experiences on both Intel Arc A-series graphics cards and Intel Core Ultra systems with integrated Arc GPUs. The update introduces Game On Driver support, specifically optimized for the upcoming game Stormgate, promising smoother gameplay and improved visuals.
In addition to Stormgate optimization, the update delivers significant performance enhancements for existing titles. Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Metro: Last Light Complete Edition have received notable FPS boosts on Arc A-series GPUs, with gains of up to 91% and 23% respectively. This translates to a more fluid and responsive gaming experience for players enjoying these games.
The driver update also addresses various bugs and issues that were present in previous versions. Problems in games like Dirt Rally and Sid Meier’s Civilization V have been resolved, contributing to overall stability and a smoother gaming experience. However, some known issues remain, such as crashes in certain games and compatibility problems with Intel Arc Control software. Intel is actively working to address these issues in future updates.
