Moving on to Cyberpunk 2077, where we see yet another very minor improvement, and much like with the other games we saw that have little to no improvement, we saw barely any increase in the average FPS but actually see a more significant decrease in the 1% lows, and with this being a repeating pattern you start to wonder if this is actually a margin of error difference or if the new CPU just can’t maintain the frame rate as well as the older chips.
When we enable ray tracing we see some more small increases in FPS, with 5% more FPS over the 13100F on average, this now brings us above the 5600 from AMD, even if only a little. Something hard to ignore is the 1% lows, again we see some drops here, with the 14100 now providing us with the worst frame rate we’ve seen here, and with lows down to 35 from the average FPS of 60, this is something you’re likely going to be noticing quite a bit.
