Super PI 2.1 WP

Super PI is a single-threaded benchmark that calculates pi to a specific number of digits. It uses the Gauss-Legendre algorithm and is a Windows port of a program used by Yasumasa Kanada in 1995 to compute pi to 232 digits

Available now on Super PI.

Starting things off with Super Pi, and here we’re not off to a bad start, the 14100 manages to improve upon the results of both 400 series and 100 series CPUs from the two generations before it, but when we compare the 14100 to the 14400F, we see that the 14100 has a somewhat significant jump down in performance from the 14400, and whilst this doesn’t sound out of the ordinary, lower tier CPU performs worse, it actually contradicts with what we saw from both the 13th and 12th gen processors, where the 100 series CPU outperformed the 400 series albeit by margin of error.
