Intel Core i7 13700K Review

Super PI 2.1 WP

Super PI is a single-threaded benchmark that calculates pi to a specific number of digits. It uses the Gauss-Legendre algorithm and is a Windows port of a program used by Yasumasa Kanada in 1995 to compute pi to 232 digits

Available now on Super PI.

Taking a look at calculation benchmarks, and starting with Super PI where we see just under a minute shaved off when comparing the i9 12900K and i7 13900K so a nice generational leap and coming in faster than both the Ryzen 9 7900X and 7950X, of which both are considerably more expensive.

As a child still in my 30's (but not for long), I spend my day combining my love of music and movies with a life-long passion for gaming, from arcade classics and retro consoles to the latest high-end PC and console games. So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
