Intel Core i7 2700k is coming

Yesterday, Intel released a MDDS(Material Declaration Data Sheet) containing a new CPU. Shown by the codes BXC80623I72700K and BX80623I72700K, which as you may have noticed, basically means an i7 2700K is on its way.
Not much information is needed, we’ll probably see 4 cores, hyper threading, faster clock speed than the 2600K while the K still implies an unlocked multiplier. The possible clock speed jump of at least 100 MHz would mean a base clock of 3.5 GHz and a Turbo of 3.9 GHz, small improvement, but no reason to complain.
Expected to be released during Q4 2011, probably along the others in November, the i7 2700K will most probably come at a similar price point as its predecessor; around £230-£250.
