Cost Per Frame
Looking at the cost per frame allows us to see where a particular product is positioned relative to the competition and previous generation products. By taking the price of the product and dividing it by the overall game average FPS, we have a simple formula that allows us to see if a product offers superior value for money.
US Dollars (USD)
British Pound (GBP)
The margin between the 7950X and 13900K draws closer by around 5% when comparing the cost per frame, as prices are slightly different in the US, but again, we see the same trend as we move down the stack, showing us that of course, we pay more for the top dogs from both AMD and Intel, so which one to choose, is an even tougher decision.
