Intel Haswell and Nvidia GTX 780M Notebook details leaked

A small German based notebook maker called DevilTech recently put up the details of the notebooks which gave us a look at Intel’s Haswell chips for notebooks well ahead of the company’s expected launch.

DevilTech recently updated their website with details of its upcoming notebook models and one of them was Haswell-based. The 15″ Devil 7700 and 17″ Fragbook GTX will be the ones that will be using the next generation of chips with Haswell architecture.

According to the reports, the Intel chips that were detailed the are Core i7-4700MQ, the Core i7-4800MQ, the Core i7-4900MQ and the Core i7-4930MX. The i7-4700MQ comes with a 47W TDP with 4x 22nm Haswell cores to be running at 2.6 GHz and 6MB of L3 Cache with Turbo boost to upto 3.6 GHz. i7-4800MQ comes with 2.7 GHz clock speed with Turbo of about 3.7 GHz. The i7-4900MQ comes with 8MB L3 Cache and 2.8 GHz clock speed with 3.8 GHz via Turbo Boost.

Intel Haswell’s flagship for notebook processors will be i7-4930MX and it comes with a 57W TDP and 3 GHz clock speed on stock and up to 3.9 GHz via Turbo Speed. These processors are integrated with Intel HD 4600 graphics where the company claimed to increase the number of pipelines from 16 to 20 compared to its previous generation predecessor. Its also being alleged that the performance of this graphics is somewhat similar to Nvidia GeForce GT 620M.

It should also be noted that Monster, a Turkish notebook manufacturer also updated their lineup of their upcoming notebooks, which are also based on Haswell architecture, but what’s surprising is that these notebook feature with Nvidia’s unannounced GTX 780M and GTX 770M graphic cards.

Monster has 4 notebook configuration that uses Intel H87 chipset and the differences between the 4 are the processor and graphics card.

The Turkish company’s flagship model, Monster Q48MS-17639 is a 17.3″ notebook with i7-4800MQ processor with Nvidia GTX 780M 4GB GDDR5 with 32GB DDR3 and 2x 240GB Kingston SSD.

According to Video Cardz, Nvidia’s GTX 780M and GTX 770M are almost similar to their predecessor models, speculated that they maybe the re-branded version of GTX 680MX and GTX 680, both based on GK104 chip. But the listing confirms that 780M comes with 4GB of GDDR5 memory. GTX 770M on the other hand is speculated to have similar specs and same memory size as GTX 670 which comes with 3GB.

Its also another speculation, but one doesn’t need to figure out that the flagship models and the models from Monster will come with a price tag that many people wouldn’t be able to afford.
