Gaming Performance
- Rise of the Tomb Raider: 186.28
- Deus Ex Mankind Divided: 85.7/118.8
- Ghost Recon Wildlands: 121/136.1
- Far Cry Primal: 92/122
For a CPU that’s not really marketed as a gaming CPU, it’s certainly got some chops on it. It’s greatest core count does mean that the all-core performance is a little lower than say, the i9-9900K. However, even with 18 cores, it can still pull some great clock speeds, which helps it maintain great performance where most many-core CPUs tend to falter. Threadripper gaming performance is massively lower for example, no doubt related to that per-core clock speed. This is good news for content creators and gamers who like to mix the two tasks on the same PC.
