Intel Launches Value Pack for CPUs with Simplified Packaging at Lower Prices

Intel has introduced a new Value Pack format for its processors with the aim of lowering costs. This new option is not available for the latest Intel Core models but is being offered with Intel’s 14th-generation processors, specifically the i5 versions. The Value Pack reduces the packaging, using a single-color box with a sticker to display the specifications.
This format is a middle ground between the traditional boxed processors and OEM versions, which come without packaging and offer no protection. The new package is smaller, simpler, and includes a sticker with the model and some features. It’s available for the Intel Core i5-14400F and Core i5-14600KF models, with some versions even including a fan.
Pricing and Availability in South Korea
These new Value Pack processors have been spotted in South Korea on the popular platform Danawa, where three vendors have listed them. If the goal was to lower the price without reaching the level of the OEM versions (which come without any box), that seems to have been achieved.
For example, the Core i5-14600KF is priced at 261,200 Won (about $182) when sold in bulk, but the Value Pack version is listed at 284,540 Won (around $199), while the standard boxed version costs 295,700 Won (around $206).
