While it’s well-known that Intel will be launching its new Raptor Lake processors later this year, exactly when this will happen is still something of a moderate mystery. Not, incidentally, that we have any concrete news from AMD and Nvidia who also have product launches for, give or take, around the same expected time.
Following a report via Videocardz, however, a leak source has reportedly revealed not just the launch date for Intel’s Raptor Lake processors, but also their (obviously to be very much confirmed) release date!
Now it should be noted that the information contained within the leak is not verified, and more so, it doesn’t really cite anything that someone with a relatively educated guess could’ve come up with. – Presuming the information is accurate, however, then Raptor Lake will officially be launched in late September with a specific release date of October 17th.
In regards to H760/B760 motherboards, the leak cites that these will be unveiled at CES 2023 (on January 5th) which does correspond to prior rumours on the subject. This CES event, however, will also undoubtedly include the majority of the remaining Raptor Lake CPU series (think in terms of non-K/KF variants).
If this leak is accurate though, then we’re, roughly speaking, just 2 months away (give or take) before Intel formally unveils its new Raptor Lake processors. As above though, with AMD and Nvidia also expected to reveal their respected products around that time too, September-November 2022 is going to be exceptionally busy (not that we’re complaining… much).
