Intel has just dropped a fresh set of beta graphics drivers (version 101.6127/6044) for its Arc A-series GPUs and Core Ultra processors with integrated Arc graphics. Headlining this release is Game On Driver support for the zombie shooter “No More Room in Hell 2”, just in time for some Halloween gaming action. But that’s not all, as Intel is also promising some significant performance improvements in several popular titles.
Gamers with Arc A-series cards can expect smoother performance in “Core Keeper” with up to 11% FPS boosts at 1080p and 13% at 1440p. “Metaphor: ReFantazio” also sees a healthy uplift, boasting up to 20% higher frame rates at 1440p. For Core Ultra users, “Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered” sees an 8% FPS increase at 1080p, while “Assassin’s Creed Mirage” enjoys an impressive 24% improvement at the same resolution.
Of course, no driver release is perfect, and Intel has also provided a list of fixed and known issues. Some highlights include fixes for visual corruption in “Chaos Enscape Benchmark 4.1” and performance dips in “3DMark Wildlife Extreme.” However, users should be aware of potential problems with “Doom Eternal,” “Blender,” and “Topaz Video AI” on Arc GPUs, and issues with “Horizon Forbidden West” and “Adobe Premiere Pro” on Core Ultra systems.
