Intel Show Latest Smart Technologies @ CES 2016

CES 2016: Another huge booth here at CES, as Intel show off the latest innovations to use their hardware. The memory mirror could change the face of retail clothes shopping for the better. Not only can you scan and see yourself in 360-degrees, you can revisit the mirror later and compare other items you tried on, allowing you to better pick your clothes. It’s a simple idea, kind of, but a big one that will no doubt prove popular with many retail stores.
The latest Fossil watches, another fantastic range of wearables that are showing just how sleek and feature packed this range of products is becoming. What really stands out is the quality of the display, it’s pixel perfect, really great contrast and the overall size of the watches looks perfect for day to day wear. Smart, professional and fully connected.
There are a lot of other cool displays here too, from digital music making tools and gadgets, such as the one demonstrated below. Just move your arms to simulate the instruments and you’re good to go.
The latest Intel Core processors and tablets showing just how powerful these mobile devices have become for content creation.
A remote VR experience, allowing users to get away from the halls and take a 360-degree look around the exterior of the CES event halls.
There’s so much going on here, but for the most part, it’s all demonstrations of products that use Intel hardware. As for new Intel hardware, perhaps we’ll see much more later in the year, or even at Computex.
