Intel is all set with their plans to launch the newer Ivy Bridge processors and also processors with the new core codenamed “Haswell”. According to Digitimes‘ sources, the processor manufacturing giant will make the 4th gen Core series processors appear on June 2nd along with other PC related hardware, just 2 days before Compute, that will be hosted in Taiwan from June 4th till June 8th this year.
According to the report, Intel predicts that the newer architecture will account for 14-16% of its CPU shipment in Q3 2013, and there’s an expectation that this will help the PC market to start recovering. As stated before, Intel will be launching a series of Haswell processors first, whereas Ivy Bridge-E series and i3 Haswell processors will appear in the next quarter.
