Intel’s KS chips are the best of the best, using the strongest silicon from the 14900K and giving it that extra push with a KS naming. The 14th Gen Variant of this chip was recently spotted in benchmark leaks giving us an idea of what to expect, and now a release date has been shared.
Benchlife.info recently published some information surrounding this new processor and according to their reliable sources, Intel will launch the Intel Core i9-14900KS in “mid-March 2024”. Just to refresh on what is to be expected from this chip, we will be seeing an increase in the boost clocks up to 6.2 GHz as well as an increased TBP of 150W though the leaked benchmarks suggested we could see this chip hitting up to 409W at full load.
This CPU is of course not something that the average user will think about getting, and it is more something for the enthusiasts who want access to the highest tier and best binned CPUs.
