Intels Missing Arc A580 May Finally Be Launching

Intel’s Arc series lineup follows on with its numbering system of its Processors with 3, 5, 7 and 9 and whilst there was never an Arc 9 GPU, there was an ARC 5 A580 GPU which still has not been released. New news however has pointed to this GPU finally hitting shelves very soon.
ARC A580 Coming Soon
As reported by VideoCardz, the ARC A580 may be coming soon as it has been spotted on a German price comparison website geizhals.at under ASRock’s Challenger OC model plus notorious leaker momomo_US who shared an image of the card and its box. Sparkle, who recently returned to the gaming GPU market with Intel, also has had their A580 ORC card surface on this site which gives us some hope for a launch.
ARC A580
The A580 has been specced with 24 Xe Cores, a 1700 MHz GPU clock and 8GB of GDDR6 and despite it being spotted at a price comparison site, no prices are currently known. Currently, the ARC A750 sits at around £230-240 at various UK retailers which places the price prediction somewhere around £180, at the very least less than £200. For a release date there are no apparent indicators as Intel isn’t expected at any public events any time soon. This card could see a quieter release similar to the A570M and A530M mobile chips although with this being a desktop card, there should be a more notable announcement.
I think by this point of Arc’s lifecycle, people are more interested in the Alchemist+ Refresh and Battlemage.
