Most office chairs are made in the same factory in China and are made to the specifications of the companies making orders with the factories. But what happens when you do all the engineering, design and even manufacturing yourself? That is what Interstuhl asked, a company from Germany who wanted to create chairs that are designed from the ground up to be the ideal chair for gaming.
The Backforce One plus from Interstuhl is one of two options on the Backforce range, there is the regular Backforce One and then the more expensive Plus variant, which is what we will be looking at today. The Plus version features more ergonomic and comfort based options that seemingly try to take it from being a chair to being a throne; these additions include the adjustable lumbar support, cushioned 5D armrests and seat adjustments.
A good chair isn’t just comfortable, it’s also supportive; perfect posture is something that depends on your body, for some people it will be slightly different, this is why adjustably is important for ergonomics. To know if Interstuhl was successful in their attempt to make the ultimate in luxury gaming chairs we will need to have a look at it, so without further ado, let’s get started.
For in-depth specifications and dimensions, check the official Backforce One Plus product page here.
“Interstuhl stands for ergonomics, quality and German craftsmanship, guaranteeing consistent, high-quality workmanship every time, optimal ergonomics for long sessions and a seating experience that is second to none. This makes Backforce one of the few manufacturers that produce exclusively in Germany and whose individual parts, if not in Germany, then at least only within the European Union. This way we can guarantee and combine high quality and sociological as well as ecological sustainability: we also use exclusively CFC-free and completely recyclable foams for Backforce. In this way, Backforce also protects the environment: individual parts do not have to be sent halfway around the world.”
