A new music player is making its way to you in the new iOS 8.4 beta, and brings a fresh new design that is long overdue. The new app is laden with features users have wanted for a long time, and that iTunes currently has.
A few of the new bits that are in the updated app include a mini player for when you are browsing the app and an upcoming song queue. Songs and albums that you have recently added to your iTunes will be at the top of the list. The now playing screen has been overhauled and looks much better while allowing users to start streaming their music wirelessly without ever leaving the screen. There is an improved iTunes Radio interface in this new release and should help you find some new tracks to love. The new global search feature allows you to search iTunes from anywhere within the application, and it allows you to launch iTunes Radio straight from the search. The upcoming Beats music service won’t be available since it should arrive at about the time that Apple’s developer conference is going on.
