The new Apple iPhone 5 will contain an A6 processor, this is an upgrade from the iPhone 4S which featured the A5 processor.
The A6 chip has double the CPU and GPU performance of the A5 processor which results in 2.1X faster page launching and 1.7X times faster keynote attachments loading times.
Apple demonstrated the improved GPU performance by showcasing EA’s game Real Racing 3.
Battery life is another thing Apple have worked hard to improved after battery life issues on the iPhone 4S. Even under power intensive LTE browsing you’ll still manage 8 hours battery life. Whilst watching videos you’ll also be able to get 10 hours of battery life and under standby mode there is 225 hours to be had.
