IRDM & Chillblast 32 GB 3000 MHz DDR4 Memory Kit Review

A Closer Look
For the most part, DDR4 ram is all pretty much the same. There’s only so much the manufacturers can do within the limitations of such a small product and to keep them widely compatible. However, the devil is in the details, and it looks like GOODRAM have taken care to create a quality product here.
There’s an IRDM logo on one side, as well as the timing stickers. However, the custom Chillblast logo is located on the other side. Personally, I love Chillblast products, and if they start using custom printed modules, I think their customers are going to love it too.
They’ve kept the design simple and elegant, with a black heat spreader matching up nicely with the black PCB. I think the heatsink looks great, with some well-placed ventilation, as well as some silver highlights. It’s fairly neutral in design, so it’ll blend in with any colour scheme fairly well.
There’s no crazy RGB or anything here, just two nice looking 16GB modules. So let’s get them on the test bench and see what they can do!
