iRocks Launches the K74M Mechanical Keyboard With Hot-Swappable Switches

iRocks, a Taiwan-based peripheral manufacturer, has today launched its new K74M mechanical keyboard featuring a white backlight and hot-swappable switches.

The K74M has been designed to offer style and practicality to both gamers and professionals with a sleek black or white design that will fit perfectly in your gaming setup as well as the office. It uses PBT keycaps which are stronger than ABS ones and allow for a longer lifespan with reduced surface wear, The keycaps also use double-shot technology to prevent the backlit legends from fading away. Extra effort has been made to ensure that the keyboard offers a delightful typing experience with a sound-absorbing pad between the plate and PCB and an appropriately sized foam for the bottom case. The stabilizers have also been factory lubricated for reduced rattling ensuring that the keyboard won’t annoy your co-workers in the office.
Customization
Despite only offering a white backlight, this keyboard still provides plenty of customizability namely with its switches. The pre-installed Gateron switches are capable of handling up to 50 million strokes and feature a clear housing for the backlight but they can be changed. The PCB uses hot-swap sockets which are compatible with both 3-pin and 5-pin MX-Style mechanical switches allowing for a typing experience that suits you.
Aside from the switches, the keyboard also features a customizable smart wheel fully compatible with Windows 11 and 10. This smart wheel has switchable modes and can be customized for volume, scrolling, zooming, brush adjustment, video editing, multimedia control and much more. The keyboard features on board memory to save configurations which can be made using hardware hotkeys and through a software configurator.
