Iron Maiden DLC for Rock Band

What an excellent coincidence that i decide to inform you about this new available DLC for Rock Band when it is actually 2 minutes to midnight.
Released on Monday 8th June, owners of an Xbox LIVE Gold subscription can now get their grubby, sore, knuckle aching mits on 12 Iron Maiden songs.
An entire albums worth of classic tracks from one of the best bands in the world will set you back 1600 Microsoft Points, which works out around £12.
If however you only have a small amount of MS points available you can purchase songs separately for 160MS points, which works out around £1.50 per track.
Available tracks are as follows.
- Aces High (Live)
- 2 Minutes to Midnight
- The Trooper
- Wasted Years
- Powerslave
- The Number of the Beast (Original)
- Run to the Hills (Original)
- Can I Play with Madness
- The Clairvoyant
- Fear of the Dark (Live)
- Hallowed be Thy Name (Live)
- Iron Maiden (Live)
If like me you were severley disappointed with the fact that Rock Band: The Beatles’ was ever in the making and can’t stop thinking about Why did they not make Rock Band:Iron Maiden first!?’, then this DLC is exactly what you need to distract you from any negative thoughts towards the excellent Harmonix.
Personally i would of loved to of seen The Duelists’ and ’22 Acacia Avenue’ on the list other than original copies of The Number of the Beast’ and Run to the Hills’ as the word over played comes to mind alot.
In a perfect world though I would of actually preferred Harmonix to release the entire Powerslave’ album for Rock Band, its only 8 tracks after all.
Hopefully the above will not be all that is to come for Rock Band and Iron Maiden. You never know, maybe someone from Harmonix will read this and have an epiphany to start work on Rock Band:Iron Maiden.
One can only hope.
Now please excuse me whilst i go and grab myself a pre pay MS Points card for the first time in almost a year.
