Intel have publicly confirmed that there mobile Ivy Bridge processors were to be delayed by 10 weeks. It would now appeared the main Ivy Bridge launch is also being delayed by 2 weeks later than expected. The reasons cited are problems with 22nm production levels which is probably partially truthful but we also suspect that Intel are probably still trying to clear excesses of Sandy Bridge stock with all desktop and notebook lines before it introduces Ivy Bridge. The revised launch schedule is as follows:
