A Japanese retailer has bizarrely decided to bundle ARC A750 GPUs with the purchase of an RTX 4090.
As reported by Tom’s Hardware, a retailer by the name of NTT-X in Japan has begun a new promotion in which when purchasing an ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 you will receive an ARC A750 graphics card. This deal costs ¥314,460 without VAT, which is roughly £1886.10 which is a bit more than the ASUS TUF RTX 4090 in the UK, though if you take VAT into consideration as well as Japanese pricing as a whole it could be closer to buying both cards individually here in the UK or US.
This is an odd combination as someone who is buying an RTX 4090 likely wouldn’t care for the ARC A750 considering the monumental performance difference, though there are some reasons someone may be happy to have this deal. As enthusiasts new hardware is always interesting and the opportunity to try out the A750 yourself and see the potential Intel has in the GPU space is a good reason plus, you can probably sell it on, chuck it into a budget build or if you’re extra nerdy just keep it as a piece of GPU history.
