Jason Biggs, the American actor best known for his role in the American Pie movies is currently being trolled to oblivion over some rather ill conceived tweets. With news of a Malaysian 777 jetliner being shot down earlier today, an incident which is believed to have left all passengers on board dead, Jason took to twitter with the following messages:
I think it#s clear that he was just joking around, many of us have been on sites like Sickipedia and are no stranger to ill timed and too-soon jokes, it’s the internet and there are a lot of people who just want to be first. However, Jason really picked a bad subject at a bad time, it should have been common sense to him that people were going to be offended. He also shouldn’t have lashed out at his fans for being offended.
What are your thoughts on this, should he have kept his mouth shut? Personally I don’t think he meant to offend as much as he did, but it still wasn’t funny.
