Packaging & Bundle
The packaging is typical for what we expect from Jetway with a clear blue box that we’ve seen in the past on older products which personally we feel needs a bit of a refresh for the consumer market, as it seems it’s aimed more at the corporate sector due to its lack of style and flair. It clearly brands the Jetway name, tells us that it’s a Mini ITX board and also comments on the main features that will appeal to tree huggers everywhere, which includes that it’s energy-saving and environmental friendly, is high-density, highly integrated, has low-power consumption, and due to its passive design has a low noise output making it perfect for many different types of system.
The side of the box tells us what the board can be useful for including having it used as a gaming machine or dedicated TF2 server, Windows home server, HTPC, home PC, general applications and of course the favoured media centre which personally we feel that it falls under the HTPC category.
The rest of the box is very simple and doesn’t give off a lot of information barring the pretty blue styling and a few pictures of what can only be described as; Earth. There is however two barcode stickers on the side of the box of which the main one gives us the part number and serial numbers which is always handy for technical support and RMA and also lists a lengthy list of specifications including CPU, FSB, chipset, memory support, on-board graphics, audio, USB, PCI slots, LAN, storage capability and Mini PCI-express port.
Once you open the box up you will find a sufficient amount of accessories to get you started with this motherboard. This includes the driver installation CD, IPC user’s manual, a leaflet explaining about later BIOS features and certain CPU configuration settings, power cable for serial ATA devices, I/O panel shield plate and two black SATA data cables.
