As you may or may not know, Johnny Depp recently suffered a minor injury while he was filming for the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales movie. The good news is that the famous actor is back on his feet and has returned to the Australian set. The announcement was shared via Twitter by producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who posted a picture of Jack Sparrow accompanied by the following statement: “Captain Jack is back and we’re not letting him go.”
The movie is directed by Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg, and it is filming at Village Roadshow Studios and on various other locations throughout Queensland, Australia. With an expected release on July 7, 2017, the motion picture brings together Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow, Orlando Bloom as Will Turner and Geoffrey Rush as Barbossa.
Warning, spoilers: The Plot involves a luckless Captain Jack Sparrow that finds himself in life-threatening danger as his nemesis Captain Salazar and a group of ghost pirates escape from Devil’s Triangle and seek to kill every pirate at sea. The only hope for Jack Sparrow is to locate the Trident of Poseidon, which would allow him to control the seas.
