Looks like manufacturer Jonsbo has been fairly busy with developing new products early in the lunar new year and has introduced five new products simultaneously: GA-01 monitor stand, RM4 and U4 mid-tower cases, FR-131 and FR-531 RGB fans.
The GA-01 monitor stand like Jonsbo’s chassis line features aluminum construction paired with tempered glass material. It is a lot more than just something to bear weight as the sleek construction makes it more of a stylistic statement. A USB 3.0 hub is located on the right side and the underside is back-lit with white LED which disperses very nicely across the tempered glass top. Underneath the GA-01 also has 475 x 57 mm of space to house a mouse and a keyboard when not in use. MSRP is only 39.99€ incl. 19% VAT.
Specifications GA-01:
The RM4 is a new mid-tower case series that uses steel construction instead of aluminum, although it still uses tempered glass sidepanels for that premium look and feel. It is also available in black or silver. It measures 478 x 215 x 445mm and is adequately spacious inside supporting CPU coolers up to 170mm tall and video cards up to 380mm in length. Liquid cooling enthusiasts will also be glad to hear support for up to 280mm or 360mm radiators up to 35mm thick.
Specifications RM4
The Jonsbo U4 on the other hand is a bit more compact than the RM4 despite supporting ATX towers as well. It measures 428 x 205 x 340mm and is made of aluminum, steel and tempered glass. It also supports CPU coolers are up to 170mm tall although video card support is limited to 310mm because of the shorter space. It is also available in black and silver, with an MSRP of 84.99 € incl. 19% VAT.
Specifications U4
Joining in on the RGB LED hype, Jonsbo adds the FR-131 RGB case fan series. These fans are capable of changing between 256 different color choices and are available in standard 120mm fan form factor. It comes with a SATA powered RGB controller so users can switch between the colors but it is also designed to perform well utilizing Hydraulic bearing for longevity and more silent operation compared to cheaper sleeve or ball bearing fans. At 12V, it operates at a max RPM of 1500 with a noise level of only 25.6dBA producing 68.3 m³/h airflow. It is available for 49.99€ incl. 19% VAT.
Specifications FR-131 RGB:
One more RGB fan option has been announced by Jonsbo called the FR-531 which is designed to be more affordable at 34.99€ incl. 19% VAT compared to the FR-131. Like the FR-131, it has 18-pieces of RGB LED lighting in the inner frame distributing light across the transparent fan blades but the dispersion looks different with a rounded pattern rather than a vortex-style patter in the FR-131. It operates at a lower RPM speed range of 900 to 1300RPM and actually produces more airflow at 72.4 m³/h at the same 25.6dBA at 12V. It also features hydraulic bearing for longer life.
