Jonsbo has released a white version of the CR-301 heatsink they introduced last month. This new version includes a fully white body and matching white fan with RGB LED. The only exception is the contact surface and the screw for mounting the fan which has a nickel plating.
The Jonsbo CR-301 measure 138 x 128 x 135mm and uses a C-type top-flow heatsink design. Four 6mm copper heatpipes take heat away from the contact surface then distributes it to the main horizontal radiator fin array. There is also a secondary radiator right above the base. This heatsink is compatible with Intel sockets 775, 1156, 1155, 1150, and 1151. For AMD systems, users can mount it on AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, AM4, FM1, and FM2
Aside from RGB LED capabilities, the fan also operates via PWM with a speed range of 600 to 1600 RPM. Since it utilizes double-ball bearings, it produces low noise levels of only 18 to 25.0 dB(A). Moreover, it lasts longer than sleeve bearing fan alternatives. Unlike sleeve bearing fans, it can also mount horizontally or vertically depending on the case design without affecting performance.
The CR-301 is actually available now from some European distributors. It has an MSRP of €49.93 with VAT.
