Jonsbo Unveils The D31 and D41 PineCones Cases

Jonsbo has announced their new D31 and D41 PineCones cases offering a clean modern aesthetic with a variety of different options.

The D31 and D41

The two new cases being released are the D31 and the D41 which are the same case in two different sizes with the D41 being 44.5mm taller than the D31 and featuring a larger 34.5L capacity vs the D31’s 31.3L capacity. The unique selling point for these cases is the various different customisation options that are offered with these cases.

Variety of Customisation Options

These Jonsbo cases come in two colour options of white and black and come with 4 different options per colour. The first option is the ‘standard’ option which features solid panels for silent operations and the second is the ‘mesh’ option for those who desire more airflow. The 3rd and 4th options is both the mesh and standard but with an included 8″ LCD screen. The screen is a 1280×800 display that features 1.1mm thick/6H Mohs hardness scratch-resistant tempered glass for a premium look and hard-standing finish. Users can display various different things such as hardware monitoring or stylish animations. The screen can be used independently from the case. Both cases feature the same I/O with a power button, USB 3.0 × 1, USB3.2 Gen 2 Type-C × 1, and a combined 4-pole audio in/out port.

Internals

With both of these Jonsbo cases being different sizes they have different limits for how much can be fit inside so we will start with the smaller D31.

Jonsbo D31

The D31 is the smaller of the two with a size of 440mm x 205mm x 363 (LxWxH) and supports ITX, DTX and M-ATX motherboards as well as full-sized ATX power supplies. When it comes to GPU and CPU cooler clearance the case can support up to 400mm of GPU and up to a 168mm tower cooler. For your expansion needs the case features 4 PCIe slots. Keeping the components cool is difficult for small form factor cases and this case provides plenty of options for cooling with room for 3 x120mm fans or 2 140mm fans on the top and bottom and 1 120mm fan on the front and rear. For radiators the top and bottom can support up to a 360mm radiator.

Jonsbo D41

The D41 is taller than the D31 with a size of 440mm x 205mm x 407 (LxWxH) which allows it to support full-size ATX motherboards and again full-sized ATX power supplies. When it comes to GPU and CPU cooler clearance the case can support up to 400mm of GPU and up to a 168mm tower cooler. For your expansion needs the case features 4 PCIe slots. The D41 has the same options for cooling with room for 3 x120mm fans or 2 140mm fans on the top and bottom and 1 120mm fan on the front and rear. For radiators the top and bottom can support up to a 360mm radiator.

Price and Availability

The Jonsbo D31 and D41 is available for pre-order now from OverClockersUK at prices starting from £54.95 for the standard edition.
