New York Comic Con is in full swing. So it is the perfect time for Warner Bros. and DC to show the latest full-length trailer for the upcoming Justice League movie. The storyline follows the events of Batman v. Superman directly which ended with the Man of Steel’s death. In fact, the first few scenes in the trailer shows the effect of his absence to those closest to him and to the world at large.
Despite his death, Superman is still prominently featured in the trailer. In fact, it heavily hints of his return. Leaks and rumours suggest that he will actually be back in action in the movie. However, he will be sporting a much different look, wearing a black suit similar to the one he wore in the comic books after his death.
The three-minute long trailer includes some previously seen footage, but it mostly contains fresh new stuff. It also provides a much closer look at the Justice League heroes and continues the lighter tone from the initial teaser trailer. Plus, there are plenty of action scenes including scenes with humans turning into parademons.
Director Zack Snyder stepped down several months ago following a family tragedy. But former Avengers director Joss Whedon stepped in to complete the movie. Whedon also gets co-writing credits with Batman v. Superman writer Chris Terio.
Justice League will premiere in UK theaters beginning November 17, 2017. However, France and Sweden get to see it earliest starting November 15. For now, you can watch the latest trailer in the video embedded below.
