Kenshi has Sold Over 2 Million Copies on Steam and Today Launches On Epic
James Cusworth / 7 months ago
Lo-Fi Games a small indie company based in the UK has proudly announced that their most popular indie game Kenshi will be launching today on the Epic Games Store for $29.99 / €26.99 / £22.99. The game was officially released back in December 2018 after a considerable 12-year-long development.
But it seems that the 12 years of development have paid off as the game boasts 39,000 average daily active users and an average daily peak concurrent player of over 8,200 with an impressive overwhelmingly positive review on Steam.
Over the last 6 years of the game’s release, it has managed to maintain a loyal following of players with the top 10% of players clocking in at over 500 hours each. The studio also reported that in 2023 the game had recorded around 2.3 million sales in the game’s history.
Where to buy Kenshi
You can buy the game here on Steam and also here at the Epic Games Store but I don’t know why anyone would willingly use Epic when Steam is available.
About Kenshi
Kenshi is a free-roaming squad-based RPG focusing on open-ended sandbox gameplay features rather than a linear story. Be a trader, a thief, a rebel, a warlord, an adventurer, a farmer, a slave, or just food for the cannibals.
Research new equipment and craft new gear. Purchase and upgrade your buildings to use as safe fortified havens when things go bad, or use them to start a business. Aid or oppose the various factions in the world while striving for the strength and wealth necessary to simply survive in the harsh desert. Train your men up from puny victims to master warriors. Carry your wounded squad mates to safety and get them all home alive.
