A Closer look: CA1000 Adapter
The Kensington CA1000 USB Type-A to Type-C adapter is very simple in its very nature. Two plugs connected with a cable and most like a little PCB in either or both connectors.
The compact nature and with its short cable, the CA1000 is a highly portable add-on and that is a big great bonus considering it is mainly aimed at mobile devices and their users. With it being an adapter, it doesn’t require a long cable either. After all, whatever the device will be that you plan on connecting, it will have its own cable.
Having a cable between the two connectors is a great benefit compared to having a small one-piece connector. The cable method provides a better durability and security against damage on both the adapter and the attached system while connecting devices.
Package and Accessories
The package is simple, but it has everything we need to know right on the front. The product, its usage, required ports, and compatible operating systems. It also displays the CA1000 adapter itself through the transparent part.
The rear of the box explains the specifications in detail and in several different languages.
Inside the box, you will only find two small pieces with information on the device and its warranty besides the adapter itself.
